Frequently asked questions
Is the photo map private?
Only the people in your room can see your room's map, and nothing appears on it unless you deliberately pin it. There is no public map and no global feed.
Do I have to share where my photos were taken?
No. Pinning is opt-in photo by photo — you tap to add each one, and skipping the map entirely does not change how the hunt plays.
Does ColorCollect track my location in the background?
No. Location is read only from the photos you choose to pin, only while you are using the app, and only for the room you are in.
Can we use the map if we are hunting in different cities?
Yes — that is when it is most fun. The room map zooms out to fit everyone, so a hunt split across two cities shows both, side by side.
